OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE:
- Develops innovative solutions and technology strategies, owning the end-to-end solution design strategy across teams. This role involves recommending new procedures and architectural approaches, partnering with enterprise architects to align technology with business goals. This role is responsible for bringing together the foundational components of the data ecosystems in order to provide capabilities that improve the quality and fidelity of data consumed by business processes and analytics use cases.
- As an expert professional within the organization, you will develop innovative solutions to complex problems aligned with organizational objectives. Your work involves addressing intricate Research and Development needs and issues, requiring strong knowledge of digital, data and technology along with contextual understanding of biopharmaceutical research and development along with in-depth analysis and judgment. You also engage with key contacts outside your expertise area and contribute to the development of new concepts and standards. Operating with considerable autonomy, you serve as a consultant to management and an external spokesperson on major matters, often working independently and leading function teams or projects. Additionally, you play a role in training and mentoring junior staff.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Drive the development of the future state target architecture direction and strategy to realize the vision through a series of tactical initiatives and interim states
- Accountable for solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions, and early-phase project estimates
- Gain acceptance of high-level design and detailed design documentation through enterprise and peer design reviews
- Create solutions aligned to architecture standards and principles, leveraging common solutions and services, and aligning solutions to domain capabilities

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
