About the Role
As the Director of Product Marketing, you will be the chief architect of CaptivateIQ’s market presence and execution strategy during a pivotal transition from a single-product flagship to a multi-product portfolio. This role owns how we show up in the market and how effectively we execute within it, serving as a critical leadership hire and the driving force behind our GTM strategy during a significant growth phase.
You will lead and mentor a high-performing team of five spanning Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Customer Advocacy, maintaining a true player-coach mentality that allows you to partner with executive leadership on high-level positioning while staying deep in the tactical weeds of execution. By operating at both a strategic and tactical level, you will ensure the field has the tools, training, and proof points they need to drive pipeline, win deals, and expand accounts. This is an opportunity for broad ownership beyond standard product marketing, designed for a leader who wants to bridge the gap between vision and field success.

Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team spanning product marketing, sales enablement, and customer advocacy.
- Own and evolve CaptivateIQ’s positioning, messaging, and narrative as we launch new products and expand into broader categories.
- Scale product launch processes that drive awareness, adoption, and differentiation, and measure success through launch readiness, product adoption, and revenue impact.
- Build a durable market, voice of customer and competitive intelligence research engine that informs positioning, sales strategy, and product roadmap decisions.
- Own enablement across GTM teams, ensuring teams are equipped to win new logos, drive expansion, and support renewals.
- Transform customers into fans by building and scaling advocacy and reference programs that increase brand affinity, influence deals, and drive product adoption.
- Build CaptivateIQ’s external credibility through analyst relations, review sites, and other validation channels, shaping how the market perceives our category leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, and Marketing to ensure tight GTM alignment and execution.
- Support executive-level storytelling for customers, analysts, and key external audiences.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in product marketing or related roles, including 3+ years building, leading, and mentoring teams.
- Proven ownership of end-to-end sales enablement programs across complex B2B SaaS motions.
- Experience leading analyst relations efforts and managing external market perception.
- B2B SaaS experience selling into enterprise; familiarity with RevOps or finance personas is a strong plus.
- A true player-coach who can set strategy, coach leaders, and still dive into execution when needed.
- Strong storyteller with the ability to translate complex products into compelling narratives.
- Comfortable using data to define success, measure impact, and guide decisions.
- Excellent communicator and presenter who can serve as an internal and external evangelist for CaptivateIQ.
