A quick snapshot…
As a Director, People Partner at Conga, you’ll provide hands-on support to a globally dispersed employee group focused on internal customer experience and partnership for our Operations and Services teams. You’ll provide support and guidance on performance management, talent assessments, compensation benchmarking, annual compensation planning, etc. You’ll also lead and guide a small team of regional People Partners.

Why it’s a big deal…

This role sits at the intersection of people strategy and business success. You will lead a team of People Partners while partnering closely with leadership to navigate growth, organizational change, talent development, and performance management. Your ability to balance employee experience with business priorities will directly impact the effectiveness of our Operations and Services organizations and help shape the future of our workforce.

Here’s the person we’re looking for…

Related experience. You’ve spent a minimum of 7 to 10 years in HR roles, holding responsibilities relating to performance management, career development, talent assessment, and HR operations. Maybe you’ve also applied compensation benchmarking and analytics in the past. Previous experience in Workday is beneficial.

Confident and deliberate communicator. You have a point of view and perspective that you’re comfortable defending to peers, partners, and business leaders. It’s a confidence that comes from experience. You’re at ease with lively debate, in fact, you welcome different views. Your points are clear and concise. And you’re equally as respected for your knowledge and expertise as for your style and approach.

Expert relationship builder and customer service enthusiast. It’s important that you genuinely enjoy building relationships. It’s not enough to simply be nice to others and enjoy working with others –the right person will be truly interested in getting to know their peers and business partners, in an effort to provide the highest level of service and support. Your knowledge and enthusiasm to engage across the People function will likely set you up as a mentor for People Partners on the team.

Process Improvement Mindset. You’re always looking for ways to make things better, whether that means improving efficiency, scaling a process, or enhancing quality. You know how to spot bottlenecks, ask the right questions, and offer solutions that lead to real, measurable impact.

Leadership Experience. You’ve led a team of HR professionals. You’re someone who leads with both clarity and care; your leadership creates momentum and trust. At Conga, we value those who lift others as they lead mentoring teammates, navigating change, and creating space for collaboration and growth.

Willingness to travel. There will be about 10% travel required (US and international) for in-person strategy meetings.

Here’s what will give you an edge…

Education. Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree is highly preferred.

Innovative Thinking. As people evolve, so does our People Team and processes. You should want to take the initiative to research new processes and take accountability of programs that can impact the organization to improve the way we achieve together and take care of our employees.

Resourceful & Collaborative. At Conga, we achieve together-- when you have questions, you find answers; when you’re faced with challenges, you find solutions. You turn to a variety of resources, including your colleagues, and professional network -- whatever helps you get the job done. Then you apply that knowledge across the business where it makes sense.

In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand compensation programs that are fair and free from any type of discrimination.  In keeping with this approach, we are committed to delivering competitive compensation and benefits packages to our colleagues worldwide and communicating transparently about the structure of our compensation programs.
