Position Description:

Leverages agile/scrum methodologies to rapidly deliver, measure, and iterate on products and features. Designs and consumes RESTful APIs and SDKs to enhance user experiences. Engages within and across squads to identify opportunities to improve product via customer feedback, Agile maturity and metrics. Participates in all aspects of the product development lifecycle from requirements through product release according to Agile methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze market data, customer feedback, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and execute product strategies aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Define product features, specifications, and roadmap based on market research and stakeholder input.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, compliance, and operations to ensure product feasibility and scalability.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch and ongoing enhancements.
  • Coordinate product launches, including planning, marketing, sales enablement, and client training.
  • Monitor product performance and KPIs, conduct post-launch analysis, and iterate based on feedback and data insights.
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and understand usability issues.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients, providing product expertise and support as needed.
  • Ensure products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Work closely with compliance teams to address regulatory changes and maintain adherence.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and updates to internal stakeholders, executives, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and support go-to-market activities.
  • Drive innovation and product differentiation through new features, partnerships, or technology enhancements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging feedback loops and agile methodologies.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior product managers and team members.
  • Identify potential risks related to product development, market changes, or operational issues.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks proactively.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with product goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and resolve issues as necessary.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Director, IT Product Management (or closely related occupation) performing product delivery from ideation to launch, including analyzing market trends and customers’ needs within a regulated financial environment.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, IT Product Management (or closely related occupation) performing product delivery from ideation to launch, including analyzing market trends and customers’ needs within a regulated financial environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) executing all phases of the systems development product lifecycle from concept to launch -- requirements analysis through implementation, including developing and maintaining project plans, and validating data modeling, mapping, analysis, and migration between databases, -- using MYSQL, Insomnia, and Branch.io according to Agile, SAFe and Scrum methodologies.
  • DE facilitating projects, sprints, and release planning, backlog creation, story estimation, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for the development of next generation corporate action processing systems that modernize existing mainframe systems using Atlassian JIRA and Confluence according to Agile, Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
  • DE defining resilient, secure, and scalable applications in Cloud, using API Gateway, RESTful APIs, SOAP, Event Driven architecture, Kubernetes, and Docker according to standard design principles and DevOps processes (to enable faster time to market).
  • DE defining and executing product roadmaps that align with business goals including prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer needs, market demands, and company objectives using Google analytics, Adobe analytics, Tableau, Salesforce marketing cloud, and product management frameworks; and designing user-friendly interfaces and system workflows for complex financial services, ensuring security, trust, and compliance while delivering seamless customer experience using FIGMA, Sketch and MIRO.
