As Director of IT Platform at our dynamic, rapidly evolving global application security company, you will be accountable for designing and operating the internal technology platform that powers how work gets done across the business. You will evolve IT from a traditional support function into a cloud-native, AI-forward platform—connecting systems, automating workflows, and enabling scalable, efficient operations.

You will partner cross-functionally to shape how our systems, data, and processes work together—from employee lifecycle and access management to enterprise applications and business workflows—ensuring a secure, reliable, and scalable environment. You will translate strategy into clear priorities, measurable outcomes, and accountability while using data and operating metrics to identify risks, make informed decisions, and adjust resources as needed.

In addition, you will lead and develop a global IT organization across end-user computing, identity and access management, enterprise applications, and infrastructure. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to redefine IT, accelerate execution, and enable the company’s next phase of growth. You will develop strong leaders, build organizational capability, influence priorities beyond IT, and lead complex cross-functional initiatives that advance Veracode’s broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the strategy to evolve IT into a cloud-native, AI-forward business platform, translating strategy into clear priorities, measurable outcomes, and accountability.
  • Design and automate end-to-end business workflows to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
  • Own identity and access management, ensuring secure, automated, and policy-driven access across systems.
  • Integrate enterprise systems to enable seamless workflows and consistent data across tools.
  • Drive automation and self-service to reduce ticket volume and enhance the employee experience.
  • Ensure platform reliability and stability, applying best practices (e.g., SLAs, observability, incident management, and rapid recovery).
  • Leverage AI to streamline IT operations (e.g., ticket deflection, access recommendations, workflow automation).
  • Drive adoption of AI across IT and internal workflows, scaling high-impact use cases.
  • Lead and develop a global IT organization, building strong leaders, coaching managers, setting a high bar for performance, and developing organizational capability and succession.
  • Partner cross-functionally and maintain stakeholder feedback loops to align IT platform capabilities with business priorities, navigate dependencies, communicate trade-offs, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the GRC organization to establish and uphold standards and governance to support scale, security, and compliance.
  • Partner with the Finance organization on budget and spend to ensure costs are managed, including SaaS/PaaS spend and IT-related public cloud spend.

Experience & Capabilities:

  • 10+ years of experience leading IT, platform, or enterprise technology functions in a SaaS or technology-driven organization.
  • Proven experience transforming IT from a traditional support model into an automated, platform-oriented function.
  • Demonstrated success designing and automating end-to-end workflows across enterprise systems, reducing manual processes, and improving efficiency.
  • Deep experience with identity and access management, including provisioning, access lifecycle, and policy-driven access at scale.
  • Strong experience integrating SaaS enterprise systems and enabling seamless data flow across tools.
  • Experience operating systems with a focus on reliability and stability, including incident management, uptime, and recovery (SRE-inspired practices).
  • Experience applying AI and automation to improve IT operations and internal workflows.
  • Experience with cloud-native environments, DevOps best practices and modern SaaS/PaaS platform architectures.
  • Proven ability to lead transformation, influence senior stakeholders, and drive adoption across a global organization.
  • Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational decisions, dive into critical issues when needed, and maintain accountability for outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build alignment across teams, clearly communicate recommendations and trade-offs, and lead complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strategic leadership capability, with the ability to connect IT priorities to broader business outcomes and shape the talent, organization, and culture needed to deliver sustained results.
