Position Overview

Zelis is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief of Staff to support our Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing leadership team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional strategic acumen, cross functional skills, and a proven ability to drive team and Enterprise-wide initiatives. This role demands a proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities and drive visibility across various functions.

What you’ll do: 

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the CMO and marketing leadership, aligning priorities, tracking critical initiatives, and strengthening crossteam connectivity around a shared vision. 

  • Break down complex marketing topics and synthesize inputs into clear, insightrich, succinct narratives that inform, influence, and inspire audiences at all levels. 

  • Translate those narratives into compelling, executiveready presentations for the CMO, from quarterly goal updates for senior leaders and investors to adhoc communications across the organization. 

  • Elevate awareness and understanding of Marketing initiatives through proactive stakeholder engagement and clear, “sowhatdriven communications across the organization. 

  • Synthesize deliverables for quarterly business rhythms and monthly marketing-wide business reviews, translating team inputs into concise, compelling insights for executive audiences. 

  • Co-develop and refine ongoing success metrics and KPIs across annual planning efforts (MITs) and ongoing indicators of team and business health. 

  • Support talent management and development initiatives, including marketing-wide Town Halls onsite gatherings, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

 

What you’ll need: 

  • 7–10 years of experience with a track record of driving business growth and operational excellence. 

  • Experience working with Marketing teams strongly preferred. 

  • Exceptional executive storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. 

  • Ability to translate topics and business priorities for diverse audiences in ways that build empathy, clarity, and excitement. 

  • Proven projectmanagement capability, including managing multiple highpriority initiatives, owning timelines, and building effective workback schedules. 

  • Strong ability to drive accountability—setting, communicating, and enforcing deadlines with stakeholders, including senior leaders. 

  • Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail. 

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Base Salary Range

$153,000.00 - $193,800.00

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.

Zelis’ full-time associates are eligible for a highly competitive benefits package as well, which demonstrates our commitment to our employees’ health, well-being, and financial protection.
