  • Maintain deep awareness of the global investment operations landscape, including regulatory developments and industry best practices, and assess impacts to the firm.

People Leadership & Capability Development

  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex Aladdin operational or platform issues, providing clear direction, decision‑making, and resolution.
  • Build deep organizational capability by coaching teams and stakeholders on Aladdin functionality, controls, and best practices.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Business Unit Heads, Technology, Finance, and external partners.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, clearly communicating priorities, trade‑offs, risks, and recommendations in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Support transformation initiatives by balancing day‑to‑day operational stability with long‑term strategic goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are an asset.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Investment Operations and/or Derivatives Operations, including broad exposure to multiple asset classes and global operating models.
  • Extensive hands‑on experience with BlackRock’s Aladdin Operations Platform, including configuration, controls, and enterprise‑level deployment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes, valuation, settlements, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make sound, risk‑aware decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business‑relevant insights.
