JOB SUMMARY

The Digital Content Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of digital content operations across Outform's in-store digital program portfolio. This hands-on role owns content scheduling, content deployment, playback monitoring, sensor and trigger configuration, and content quality assurance across active retail media and digital signage programs. The Digital Content Manager works within CMS and device management platforms daily, ensuring digital content is published accurately, performs as intended, and consistently meets program requirements and campaign deadlines.

SCOPE & ACCOUNTABILITY

The Digital Content Manager serves as the primary operational owner of content execution across Outform's active digital programs. This role is accountable for maintaining accurate content schedules, executing content updates, validating sensor and trigger functionality, monitoring playback performance, and ensuring all deployed content meets established quality standards. The position plays a critical role in keeping digital programs operating reliably and efficiently by proactively identifying issues, coordinating content updates, maintaining organized content libraries, and providing visibility into active and upcoming deployments.

The Digital Content Manager works closely with the Manager, Digital Delivery, Technology, Creative, Client Services, and Field Operations teams to support successful delivery of retail media and digital signage programs. The role is expected to maintain exceptional attention to detail, ensure campaign launches occur on schedule, and support continuous operational improvement across content delivery processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day content scheduling across all active programs, maintaining playlists, daypart rules, campaign rotations, and location-specific content requirements.
  • Execute content updates within CMS platforms, including campaign launches, promotional changes, seasonal refreshes, emergency updates, and routine content maintenance.
  • Configure and maintain sensor-triggered and interactive content rules, ensuring devices and triggers function as designed and support intended customer experiences.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews prior to publication, validating asset formatting, duration, display compatibility, scheduling accuracy, and content specifications.
  • Monitor active programs for playback issues, offline devices, schedule conflicts, and content discrepancies, resolving issues directly or escalating appropriately.
  • Maintain content libraries, naming conventions, version control practices, asset archives, and historical deployment records.
  • Coordinate asset intake activities and identify potential content specification issues before deployment deadlines are impacted.
  • Maintain delivery logs, scheduling records, operational documentation, and deployment history to ensure visibility across teams.
  • Support testing and validation activities for new content experiences, delivery processes, and platform enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Digital Delivery to support automation initiatives, workflow improvements, and operational best practices.
  • Partner with Creative, Client Services, Technology, and Field Operations teams to support successful campaign launches and ongoing program execution.
  • Escalate platform, content, device, or operational issues that may impact program performance or client expectations.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-focused execution.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital content operations, digital signage management, content deployment, or a comparable digital delivery role.
  • Hands-on experience scheduling and publishing content within a CMS or digital signage platform across multiple screens or locations.
  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent programs and meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Experience performing quality assurance and operational validation activities.
  • Enterprise CMS platforms, preferably Navori.
  • Content scheduling, playlist management, and dayparting methodologies.
  • Sensor-triggered and interactive content environments.
  • Device monitoring and content delivery platforms.
  • Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
  • Digital signage and retail media environments preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Working conditions are in a normal office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, and stand, using hands to handle, finger, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally, the employee must crouch or kneel. The employee must occasionally exert or lift up to 20 pounds. Successful performance requires good eyesight with or without corrective lenses. Requires long periods of time working at a computer and includes phone work. Travel up to 10% of the time is required and is an essential function of this position.
