  • Lead the recreation, remediation, and reconciliation of accounting records across general ledger, subledger, wallet, exchange, and operational data sources.
  • Advise clients on complex accounting issues while developing practical, scalable solutions and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Coordinate directly with client executives, auditors, legal, tax, operations, technology teams, and CFGI leadership to deliver successful engagements across multiple workstreams.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and implementation of scalable accounting, reporting, and internal control processes.
  • Mentor Managers and Consultants by providing technical leadership, coaching, and professional development.
  • Contribute to recruiting, proposal development, client relationship management, thought leadership, and business development initiatives.

What you must have:

  • 8-12 years of experience in Big 4 audit, accounting advisory, capital markets advisory, transaction advisory, and/or corporate accounting and finance, including a minimum of 2 years of experience at a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC).
  • Experience leading accounting advisory engagements involving audit readiness, technical accounting, finance transformation, IPO readiness, SEC reporting, transaction support, and/or public company reporting.
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor while leading multiple client engagements within a consulting, advisory, or public accounting environment.

What sets you apart:

  • Experience supporting digital asset, cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, broker-dealer, investment management, or other high-volume transaction businesses.
  • Experience standing up, rebuilding, or remediating accounting records, financial reporting processes, and audit-ready support in complex or fragmented data environments.
  • Experience advising clients on digital asset accounting, crypto transaction accounting, wallet and exchange reconciliations, accounting remediation, and finance function transformations.
  • Experience leading SEC reporting engagements, IPO readiness, capital markets transactions, audit coordination, or public company financial reporting.
  • Experience applying U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and technical accounting guidance related to complex transactions and emerging business models.
  • Experience leading engagement teams, mentoring Managers and Consultants, managing multiple workstreams, and serving as a primary point of contact for executive client stakeholders.
  • Experience contributing to proposal development, client relationship management, recruiting, business development, or practice growth initiatives.

Nice to have:

  • CPA license.
  • Experience with digital asset accounting platforms, blockchain analytics tools, ERP systems, or financial reporting technologies.
  • Experience supporting publicly traded digital asset companies or companies preparing for IPO.
  • Experience with emerging regulatory guidance impacting digital assets and cryptocurrency accounting.

Who thrives here:

  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility across executive stakeholders.
  • Proactive in identifying client needs and developing long-term trusted advisor relationships.
  • Highly organized with the ability to lead multiple engagements and competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities with the ability to drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, adaptable, ethical, and dependable.
  • High energy with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service while developing future leaders.
