The Opportunity
As a Deals - Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) Intern, you will engage with clients to provide strategic advice and support in navigating complex accounting standards and financial transactions. Within our Advisory practice, you will be part of a dynamic team that guides clients towards sustainable growth and competitive advantage in today's market. As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices, supporting teams with basic tasks, and participating in projects that contribute to the team's success. You will have the chance to observe professional work environments and develop your personal brand.
In this role at PwC, you will be involved in providing guidance and insights to businesses operating in capital markets, helping them understand regulatory requirements and transaction readiness. Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in the execution of capital markets transactions and financial reporting
- Participating in the preparation of carve-out financial statements and merger accounting
- Assisting in the analysis of deal structures and organization restructuring efforts
- Engaging in project management tasks to streamline transaction advisory services
- Contributing to the preparation of regulatory reporting and revenue recognition documentation
- Learning and applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in financial accounting tasks
- Observing and assisting in the preparation for Initial Public Offerings (IPO) and private equity transactions
- Collaborating with team members to provide accounting advisory services to clients
- Gathering and analyzing market data to support financial decision-making processes
- Developing an understanding of technical accounting and financial reporting standards
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
- Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
