Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics
Reports to the Senior Director, Global Commercial Analytics and Insights, this position is a critical leadership role on a transformational analytics team charged with managing POS insights, market strategy, and pricing recommendations for key accounts. This role will be responsible for working with a team of analysts to report on the health of the business, category, and identify market opportunities. This role is vertically integrated with the key leaders of SharkNinja’s sales organization who are managing retail accounts and will be responsible for delivering insightful, actionable and honest sales analytics to drive faster and better decision making across our retail channel. Deliverables:
- Manage, Coach, and Mentor a team of analysts partnering with the SharkNinja sales organization
- Identify, measure, and quantify marketplace/ retailer trends, issues and opportunities
- Ability to problem solve and react to market threats
- Present strategic insights based on internal and external data to gain alignment of major initiatives at multiple levels of the organization
- Be the voice of the consumers and coach team members to bring the voice of the consumer to their projects
- Be the go-to resource for all Sales leadership
- Deliver Daily/Weekly/Monthly analytics reports showing health of business
- Analyze and evaluate pre- and post-promotion analyses for retailer, quantifying impact to brand and category
- Understand day to day impact of the POS to facilitate decision making
- Work with sales leadership to determine long term goals
- Measure and communicate on sales results; i.e promotional lift and elasticity, expected shifting due to line extension, pricing strategy, focus project plans on highest impact, etc.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of relevant work experience within a strategic sales environment
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented with respect to ensuring deadlines are met
- Advanced Microsoft Excel/ Office skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to present and calibrate on critical challenges on the executive level
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
