The Chief Client Office (CCO) is focused on providing consistent Client Experience across all business lines and geographies, enabling enhanced Client Satisfaction, Revenue Growth and Business Line Success. The CCO function includes Sales, Partners, Relationship Management, Integration, Marketing & Communications and Sales Analytics & Operations.

The Impact you will have in this role:

As a member of the Growth & Commercial Strategy team, the Sales Executive will play a critical role in expanding the reach and value of our data offerings through strategic partnerships. 

This position provides direct exposure to senior industry leaders, complex commercial negotiations, and high-impact growth initiatives across the financial services ecosystem. 

You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition, management, and expansion of strategic data redistribution partnerships. This role will focus on identifying, negotiating, and managing agreements with market data vendors, fintech providers, redistributors, exchanges, and technology partners that distribute financial data to end users. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, market data licensing, redistribution models, and complex commercial negotiations. Success in this role requires a combination of sales expertise, relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate legal, compliance, and operational considerations associated with partner agreements.

Your Primary Responsibilities: 

Partner Acquisition & Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and develop relationships with prospective redistribution partners and strategic market data vendors. 
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the firm's redistribution footprint and revenue opportunities
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of partner opportunities across financial services, fintech, wealth management, and data platform providers.
  • Lead business development efforts from initial engagement through contract execution.

Partner Agreement Negotiation

  • Negotiate commercial terms, licensing agreements, and redistribution contracts.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Product Management, and Operations to structure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Ensure contractual obligations, usage rights, and reporting requirements are clearly defined and adhered to.
  • Manage renewals, amendments, and expansion opportunities with existing partners.

Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary commercial contract for redistribution partners.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and identify opportunities for increased adoption and revenue growth.
  • Maintain executive-level relationships within partner organizations.
  • Address partner concerns and coordinate internal resources to ensure successful outcomes.

Revenue Generation & Forecasting

  • Achieve and exceed annual revenue and partnership targets.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting within CRM systems.
  • Develop account plans and growth strategies for key redistribution partners.
  • Report pipeline activity, revenue performance, and market intelligence to senior leadership.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends related to market data distribution, licensing, fintech innovation, and regulatory developments.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and identify emerging partnership opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to product and leadership teams regarding market demand and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of sales, business development, or relationship management experience within financial services, market data, fintech, or technology sectors. 
  • In-depth knowledge of securities industry and business applications for banks, brokers, investment managers, etc., including knowledge of trade capture, clearance and settlement systems, asset servicing & securities processing, related technology, service bureaus, data vendors, and other partners

  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and data products.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience with market data licensing and redistribution models.
  • Knowledge of exchange data, reference data, pricing data, or post-trade services.
  • Familiarity with financial institutions, asset managers, broker-dealers, exchanges, and fintech providers.
  • Experience working with complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
