- Lead and manage a data management team of ~10 members, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data infrastructure and pipelines.
- Ensure adherence to data management principles, including data quality, governance, and security.
- Utilize cloud platforms like AWS, and tools such as Databricks & Informatica for data processing and storage solutions.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and testing automation, to streamline workflows.
- Design scalable and robust system architectures aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of data systems.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in data management, with a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies like AWS, Databricks, and Informatica.
- Expertise in software engineering best practices such as IaC, DevOps pipelines, and comprehensive testing methods.
- Experience in system design & architecture, including distributed systems and integration patterns.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team (~10 people), fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong expertise in data integration, data modeling, and modern database technologies (Graph, SQL, No-SQL) and AWS cloud technologies
- Extensive experience in DBA, schema design & dimensional modeling, and SQL optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in AWS, DevOps, Data Engineering, or related technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of modern data governance frameworks and strategies.
