Leads oncology R&D portfolio strategy, prioritization, governance, analytics, and strategic initiatives across discovery, development, and lifecycle management. Partners with senior leaders to evaluate opportunities, risks, investments, scenarios, and portfolio trade-offs. Facilitates executive governance forums, prepares decision materials, integrates scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial, operational, and financial information, and drives improvements in portfolio management and decision-making processes. Requires extensive biopharmaceutical R&D and portfolio management experience, with oncology experience preferred.

Executes analytical development experiments, prepares samples and solutions, operates laboratory instruments, interprets analytical results, documents findings, troubleshoots routine issues, maintains data integrity, and follows laboratory safety and compliance procedures. Collaborates with peers and cross-functional teams to evaluate laboratory automation tools and complete assignments on schedule.

Leads Takeda’s Oncology competitive intelligence function, team, strategy, governance, and methodologies. Translates scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial, and market developments into recommendations supporting brand strategy, clinical development, portfolio decisions, launches, and business development. Oversees competitive assessments, scenario planning, conference intelligence, vendor and budget management, and executive stakeholder engagement across functions.
