Malwarebytes is reimagining security to safeguard devices, data, and people — no matter their location, lifestyle, or means. What began in 2008 with one person helping another remove a malware infection has grown into a global leader in online protection, with an all-in-one suite of cybersecurity, privacy, and identity protection solutions that empower millions of people worldwide to enjoy their digital lives, free from threats and scams.

About Malwarebytes Inc.

Our portfolio has grown far beyond malware removal into a full suite of award-winning cybersecurity, privacy, and identity solutions, from the free tools that have long served as a first line of defense to newer options for identity protection and personal data removal. The threat landscape keeps getting faster, stealthier, and more sophisticated, and we believe protection should be both powerful and refreshingly simple — because security that's too hard to use doesn't get used. Built and beloved by experts, we combine world-class threat research with proprietary, AI-powered processes to deliver powerful digital protection that's always by your side.

All while pushing boundaries to bridge storytelling, strategy, and innovation across every format. If you thrive at the intersection of instinct and evidence, and you know how to move fast without cutting corners — read on.

Compensation Range: $90 - 120K Annually (depending on experience & location)

What You Will Do:

Creative Strategy & Execution

  • Lead creative development across static, dynamic, video, and emerging formats for performance marketing and brand awareness campaigns
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product, our audience, and what makes a piece of creative land, not just look good
  • Partner closely with internal teams (Brand, Creative, Product, etc.) and external agencies/vendors to brief, review, and iterate on assets. You hold the bar high at every stage
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate workflows — research, ideation, scripting, competitive analysis, data dashboards — while ensuring final output is crafted by real people
  • Be the creative thought partner people actually want in the room: opinionated, collaborative, and grounded in what the data says

Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor creative performance, analyze results, and iterate quickly to optimize creative direction
  • Build and maintain a testing calendar and creative playbook that scales. Ensure the team doesn't reinvent the wheel every month
  • Own a reporting framework that clearly surfaces the good, bad, and what to do next

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with our ASO agency and internal team to evaluate store creative, review placements, and contribute to a steady pipeline of experiments across app store listings
  • Partner with our Social and Content teams to cross-pollinate ideas. You'll test what works organically in paid, and vice versa
  • Stay sharp on platform trends, algorithm shifts, and competitor activity so we're never lagging behind the industry

Skills You'll Need to Have:

  • 2-3+ years running creative strategy and performance creative at scale — at a consumer brand, agency, or both
  • Strong creative instincts and taste: you know what makes an ad stop the scroll, and you can articulate why
  • Hands-on experience with paid channels (Meta, Google UAC/App Campaigns, Apple Search Ads, or similar) and an understanding of how creative drives performance within each
  • Creative and analytical in equal measure — skewing creative. You can identify what works and why, then scale it
  • A communicator who can align external partners, cross-functional teams, and senior stakeholders without losing momentum
  • Highly organized to run multiple workstreams at once, scrappy enough to move when the situation calls for it
  • Comfortable using AI to speed up workflows (Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot)
  • Someone who genuinely loves this craft. You've got big ideas and that energy spills through Slack and Zoom meetings

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with ASO and how experimentation works in that environment (store screenshots, feature graphics, preview video, etc.)
  • Experience in consumer cybersecurity, privacy, or adjacent tech categories
  • Background working with performance creative studios or freelance networks at scale
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to sell creative ideas internally
  • Familiarity with tools like AppsFlyer, Adjust, Looker, Google Analytics, or similar measurement/analytics platforms
  • A portfolio or case studies showcasing your work (encouraged but not required)

Perks & Benefit:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Employee Referral Bonus Program
  • Wellness programs
  • 401k and employer matching for (US Employees)
  • Comprehensive Time Off policy
  • An opportunity to do something great for yourself and the world!
