Your Role

Aptiv’s marketing team is looking for a talented writer to produce clear and compelling copy for our webpages and articles, as well as scripts and storyboards for our video content. In this role, you will help ensure an authoritative voice in Aptiv’s external communications.

  • Work with marketing leads to develop web content that best showcases Aptiv’s products, solutions and technologies
  • Research and write about Aptiv’s sustainability efforts year round, culminating in an annual sustainability report. For this ongoing effort, conduct interviews with focus area owners to tell their stories
  • Help write and edit content that includes:
    • Articles
    • White papers
    • Email and social media campaigns
    • Case studies
  • Align content with Aptiv’s strategic priorities and key messages
  • Ensure that content is optimized for search engines
  • Stay up to date on style guidelines, brand voice and best practices for copywriting and SEO
  • Work closely with teams in production, digital marketing, social media and thought leadership

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in marketing, journalism or relevant field
  • 5 or more years as a writer in a copywriting, content marketing or journalism role
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to accurately represent our company voice with intelligence and consistency
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainability topics a plus
  • Familiarity with technology topics a plus
  • Excellent grammar and spelling skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be legally able to work in the U.S. without requirement for any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now or anytime in the future
