Compliance Support Specialist (Temporary)

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Compliance Support Specialist is a temporary, 4-week position. They assist the Compliance team by meeting regulatory requirements, preparing and reviewing documentation, and resolving routine compliance questions. They act as a helpful bridge between the Compliance Department, the Operational Team, and licensing and regulatory requirements.

The Compliance Support Specialist is accountable for the following, specifically:
Key Responsibilities
• Support licensing application activities, including preparation, submission, tracking, and ongoing regulatory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate the collection and procurement of documentation required for licensing, accreditation, and regulatory submissions.
• Assist with policy governance processes, including policy development, formatting, review, approval, implementation, and maintenance.
• Support project management and growth initiatives by tracking deliverables, coordinating stakeholders, and monitoring project progress.
• Assist in overseeing medical records production and compliance activities to support adherence to regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Provide administrative, record management, and operational support for compliance, licensing, regulatory, and legal initiatives to ensure effective department performance and continuity.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to facilitate licensing, regulatory and operational objectives.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Experience in Licensing and Regulatory Compliance Required
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
