SummaryResponsible for overseeing communication strategies. Should ensure the organization's message is consistent and effectively communicated to various stakeholders, including employees, customers, shareholders, media outlets, and the general public.

Essential Functions
-Developing and implementing communication plans and strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
-Developing and managing the company's social media presence, including posting updates, responding to inquiries, and monitoring feedback.
-Writing and editing various forms of content, including press releases, speeches, and presentations, to ensure that the company's message is communicated effectively.
-Working with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and public relations, to ensure a consistent and cohesive message is being communicated to all stakeholders.
-Analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of communication initiatives and making recommendations for improvements.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Communication Studies preferred or Bachelor's Degree Journalism preferred or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

Experience
experience working in communications in health care or science field 5-7 years required management experience 1-2 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- superior written, editorial, oral communication and computer skills.
- Proven management ability in employee communications, content development, writing and editing, web development, digital signage development, and publication production.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent management and organizational skills with attention to detail and demonstrated ability in managing staff and multiple projects simultaneously while working effectively under the pressure of last minute deadlines and changing priorities.
- Takes initiative and functions effectively, both independently and as a member of a team, with a willingness to assist with routine and last minute projects.
- Exceptional judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential issues.
