Overview

Physical Superintelligence (PSI) is building AI systems to discover and commercialize new physics at scale. Data centers are our first commercial market, where we work with operators to improve how their facilities perform.

Customer engagements involve many moving parts across business, legal, technical and executive teams on both sides. Momentum depends as much on disciplined commercial operations as on the technology itself.

We are hiring a Commercial Operations Associate to run that function day to day. Reporting to our Chief Business Officer and working closely with our go-to-market and technical delivery teams, you will ensure every lead is followed up, every account is current in our CRM, and leadership is well prepared for every customer conversation.

Role and responsibilities

Run the pipeline. Track every opportunity from first conversation through signed agreement. Know its current stage, its next milestone, who owns it on each side, and what could slow it down, and raise risks early.

Own the CRM. Maintain Attio as the system of record for every account, contact, opportunity, document and next step, so that any status question can be answered from the CRM. Build the views and reports leadership uses to review the business each week.

Manage leads end to end. Capture inbound inquiries and event contacts promptly, qualify them, and route them to the right owner. Follow up consistently until each lead reaches a clear outcome.

Research the market. Build and maintain target account lists across operators, developers and infrastructure partners. Keep an up-to-date view of customers, competitors and the broader landscape, informed by what we hear in the field.

Prepare leadership. Produce account briefs, meeting materials and follow-up notes for the Chief Business Officer and go-to-market lead. Circulate decisions and action items the same day.

Support deals. Build financial and value models, help prepare proposals, and track agreements through review on both sides until they are signed.

Connect commercial and technical work. Partner with our technical program and engineering teams so that customer commitments match what we can deliver and customer requests move without delay.

Automate the work. Use AI agents to draft notes, summarize meetings, enrich lead data and keep the CRM current, so the function scales efficiently as the business grows.

What we're looking for
  • 1–4 years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or business operations at a high-growth company.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. You can build a bottom-up revenue or value model and clearly explain its assumptions.

  • Exceptional organization and follow-through. You manage many concurrent workstreams and drive each to completion, internally and externally.

  • Clear, concise writing. Your briefs, emails and status updates are specific and ready to send.

  • Confidence with senior stakeholders, including customer executives and company leadership.

  • Fluency with AI tools in daily work, or a demonstrated ability to adopt them quickly.

  • Interest in infrastructure, energy or deep technology, and the curiosity to learn the technical fundamentals well enough to discuss them credibly.

Nice to have
  • Experience in data centers, AI infrastructure, power or energy, including diligence or advisory work in these sectors.

  • Working familiarity with core data center concepts such as capacity, power and cooling.

  • Hands-on CRM administration (Attio, HubSpot, Salesforce), including pipelines, automations and reporting.

  • Experience with enterprise sales cycles, procurement processes or complex commercial agreements.

  • A technical or quantitative degree.

How we work, location and compensation

We hold a high bar and give people full ownership of their work. We value sound independent judgment in ambiguous situations, and AI tools are central to how we work every day.

This role is based in Boston, on-site at our Cambridge hub, with occasional travel to customer sites and industry events. We offer competitive salary, benefits and meaningful early-stage equity.

Because of our export control obligations, some responsibilities may carry restrictions tied to citizenship or immigration status, which we will discuss openly during the process. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. PSI is not able to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas for this role, now or in the future.

Export Controls. PSI's work involves technology that may be subject to U.S. export control laws. To comply with those laws, PSI may require that the person in this role be a U.S. person, meaning a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an individual granted refugee or asylum status in the United States, or be eligible to receive any required U.S. government export authorization. PSI will confirm eligibility with each candidate in the same way, and only to the extent export control laws require.

Equal Opportunity. PSI is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of citizenship status, national origin, or any other characteristic protected by law.
