Eliot is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to provide comprehensive clinical supervision and oversight of service delivery for clients of our Jail Diversion program. This program works in partnership with the Police Department to support individuals, including adults, adolescents, children, and families that are experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, with the goal of diverting them from the criminal justice system to appropriate treatment services. This work is done through a combination of co-response to calls the police departments receive, follow up support, and active case management of specific clients.

The ideal candidate will guide the services and clinical care of the clients utilizing evidence based practices that align with the preferences and needs of the client.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision and oversight of the Jail Diversion service delivery, including staff guidance, intervention modeling, and adherence to culturally competent, strength-based practices.
  • Co-respond to calls received through 911 and other police lines with police officers and other members of the Jail Diversion team in order to support crisis calls in the field.
  • Complete intakes, assessments, and crisis plans.
  • Deliver direct clinical interventions and facilitate therapeutic and skills-based groups using approaches such as CBT, DBT, and integrated dual diagnosis treatment
  • Support staff development through training, supervision, and clinical leadership while serving as on-call clinical backup for crisis situations and consumer care needs.
  • Support and refine data collection and reporting efforts including collaboration between the police department, JPD team, and Eliot.
  • Be the point person for collaboration with other Eliot programs, outside providers, and other collaborators that may share clients and/or programs.

Qualifications:

  • Independent Clinical Licensure (LMHC, LCSW or LICSW)
  • Requires a Master’s degree 
  • At least four years experience working  adults experiencing severe mental illness 
  • Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and maintain a personally owned vehicle
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm, 11pm-7pm, or 12pm-8pm.

Annual Salary
$80,000$80,000 USD
