This role will be a key enabler in the overall business growth and productivity strategies across the business in collaboration with the key operational executives and numerous professionals across the business. Additionally, this position is responsible for the program planning and project details for all major business projects related to the VOS.. This will include driving the company capital program governance process, ensuring the use of all critical Program/Project Management templates/tools such as SmartSheet, in collaboration with the GM and enabling all business process changes required to drive continuous improvement and maturity of such programs.
- Leads multi-functional, multi-level participation in the design of optimal VOS processes
- Recognize and implement opportunities though the process to reduce lead times, increase labor productivity and drive fully integrated quality management system to the shop floor
- Foster an environment of collaboration and information sharing
- Work closely with the Operations, General Managers, Financial Leaders and Sales Teams to improve both forecasting and demand management processes to ensure first articled completion and production rate increases achieve the desired revenue growth and profitability across the enterprise.
- Ensure program and project plans are managed to ensure scope, schedule, resources and risks are managed in accordance with company objectives.
- Achieve PMP Certification or equivalent proficiency in Program/Project Management skills
- Maintain and manage to a standard calendar of monthly events; including Regional Demand, Ops Partnership and Exec SIOP meetings
- Create concise verbal and written communication of key issues, utilizing the established governance process to ensure all critical actions are taken to ensure delivery of productivity and program benefits.
- IN collaboration with the COO and VP of IT/IS, utilize and improve standardized templates for programs, projects, management reporting, presentations and communication of decisions
- Collaborate with senior management in the development, planning, and execution of program plans, short and long term productivity and operational plans, budgets, and business initiatives
- Collaborate with the Operations and Site GMs to ensure the alignment of the VOS with the development and execution of annual operational capital plans, financial results and required productivity gains to meet or exceed the business targets
- Accurately diagnose organizational issues, develop solutions and in collaboration with the relevant Operational Leaders, implement the solution and ensure continuous improvement and maturity processes are in place
- Assist the Site GMs in operations and work in collaboration with the quality, technical and administrative staff to resolve production and processing problems in a sustainable manner, adhering the VOS.
- Develop and implement the VOS to ensure tracking procedures are on place for quality, delivery, productivity, and asset utilization by analyzing production, systems, maintenance, and labor productivity are in alignment with business targets
- Performs other duties as assigned or required

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work and frequent travel
This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
