Position type: This is an hourly position plus commission. Flexible scheduling offered.

Responsibilities:

HomeWorks energy is hiring Canvassers starting at $24 per hour plus commission (Employees meeting quota earn: $400-$500 per week with top performers earning $1,000 per week or more!), along with tremendous growth opportunity within the company.

Use your people skills from previous entry level sales roles, retail or customer service positions to engage directly with your community going door to door with your canvassing team. Plus enjoy a fantastic team culture and opportunities to earn unlimited commission.

The primary goal of this position is customer acquisition, so if you don’t mind talking to strangers then you’ll do great here!

  • Knock door to door on 60+ homes a day, talking to residents about their home and scheduling no cost energy assessments for HomeWorks Energy and the Mass Save Program.
  • Responsible for scheduling customers for a Home Energy Assessment or other in home visits as needed
  • Responsible for arriving to assigned neighborhoods at scheduled times.
  • Attends bi-weekly team meetings, some of which are in Charleston, Ma
  • Drives to canvassing locations up to 1 hour away
  • Performs other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable form of transportation.
  • Must be okay traveling to territory locations up to 1 hour away (mileage is reimbursed).
  • Must be 18 years of age.

Compensation: $24 per hour plus the opportunity to earn commission of $400-$500 per week with top performers earning up to $1,000 per week. With earned commissions, Canvassers make an hourly average between $24 - $35 per hour.
