System Strategy – Business Applications & Transformation

The Associate Director – Business Applications & Transformation provides strategic leadership across enterprise application implementations, finance and operational transformation initiatives, and business-application modernization programs. This role leads complex, multi-faceted business systems engagements and advises executive stakeholders through business system implementations, integrations/carve-outs, and modernization efforts to scale client organizations.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred but not required.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in ERP delivery, enterprise transformation, or management consulting.

  • Proven track record leading dozens of full lifecycle ERP implementations through PMOs.

  • Strong executive communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Experience across major ERP platforms such as Oracle Cloud, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday and SAP.

  • Background in integrations, data migration, cloud deployments, and enterprise architecture.

  • Experience supporting M&A technology strategy, IT due diligence, and carve-out execution.

What You’ll Do:

ERP & Business Systems Leadership:

  • Lead the planning, governance, and delivery of multi-phase ERP and enterprise business application programs.

  • Advise executive stakeholders on platform selection, solution architecture, operating model implications, and transformation roadmaps.

M&A Integration & Carve Out Execution:

  • Oversee technology-enabled M&A integration and carve-out engagements.

  • Support Day-1 readiness, TSA planning and exit, and standalone environment design and execution.

Finance & Operational Transformation:

  • Lead finance and operational transformation initiatives, including process standardization, automation, data governance, and reporting/KPI modernization.

  • Partner with finance, operations, and IT leaders to align business system capabilities with PE/corporate business objectives.

Governance & Risk Management:

  • Establish and manage program governance structures, including steering committees and executive reporting.

  • Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve cross-functional risks and issues.

Team Leadership & Tean Development:

  • Lead and mentor managers, senior associates, and associates across multiple engagements.

  • Ensure high-quality delivery, strong client relationships, and adherence to Riveron standards.

Business Development & Firm Building:

  • Support pursuit strategy, proposal development, and executive-level client presentations.

  • Develop reusable methodologies, accelerators, and thought leadership supporting Riveron’s go-to-market strategy.
