This analysts position plays a key role in supporting proposal development, and strategic communications for Medicaid, public health, and health transformation initiatives. This position is responsible for developing clear, compelling written content while ensuring materials are organized, compliant, and aligned with client requirements and project goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  •  Reviews and develops expertise in state Medicaid and public health program operations, with a focus on health transformation initiatives, including rural health care delivery systems and behavioral health services.
  • Supports business development activities, including proposal organization, development, project management and compliance with external and internal procedural requirements
  • Supports development of program strategies, operational plans, and implementation approaches aligned with proposal and project goals.
  • Manages workplans, and tasks with limited supervision while meeting established timelines and performance expectations.
  • Organizes and provides facilitation support for internal leadership, state agencies, providers, and community partners.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams to support proposal and project delivery, ensuring alignment across policy, program, and leadership.
  • Proposal writing, content development, qualification and resume drafting.
  • Supports continuous improvement by identifying challenges, risks, and opportunities
  • Other responsibilities as necessary.

Required Skills

  • Ability to interpret complex state procurement requirements and apply them to workplans, design, implementation, and operations.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Constant Contact, Monday and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, or similar) preferred.
  •   Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to draft well written newsletters, proposals, grants or public facing communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within defined timelines and budgets.
  •   Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills to effectively engage clients and stakeholders
  •   Creative problem-solving ability and a consulting mindset.
  • Commitment to exceptional client service and high-quality deliverables.·      
  • Excellent business writing skills and ability to present to a variety of audiences.·      
  • Ability to identify issues, assess implications, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in public health (MPH), Masters in communication, public administration (MPA), health policy, or related field preferred

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.  As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

Range: $56,200 - $65,000
