What you will be responsible for

As Business Analysis, VP you will

  • Act as the primary Data Steward for Enterprise Reference Data /Master Data Management applications, managing the quality and use of data assets. Developing, maintaining, and enforcing policies and procedures for data use.
  • Ensure seamless operational processes in cooperation with partners in global operating model spanning US, EMEA and APAC.
  • Manage, analyze, and resolve data quality issues in line with internal stakeholders’ and customers’ needs, while adhering to Data Quality standards and Data Governance Policy
  • Assist in data management, governance, and data quality review with other functional data owners to ensure master data integrity.
  • Act as first point of contact in terms of any escalations or queries from business partners.
  • Utilize industry and regulatory knowledge to support State Street’s regulatory reporting initiatives and or finding resolution
  • Manage external data and application vendors, ensuring quality data and performance metrics are achieved against agreed service levels.
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the execution of system enhancements

  • Prior Data Steward experience is preferred and/or a background in Data Governance
  • Experience in managing large reference data sets
  • Ability to articulate business requirements and bring them to fruition
  • Experience in (re)designing processes and controls

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/MIS/Computer Science or equivalent work experience to substitute for education);
  • 10-15 years of financial /financial services industry is required
  • Detailed knowledge of reference data including legal entity data is a plus.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $187,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.
