About the Role:

At Abacus Insights, we’re building something exciting, and we’re seeking a dynamic Analytics Manager with experience in Payment Integrity to join our team. The ideal candidate is adept at client-facing engagements and thinking on their feet to influence business decisions and enhance our healthcare solutions through data-driven strategies..

You Will:

  • Be a thought leader for company’s evolving payment integrity solutions.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to assess operational performance and enhance analytical tools & reporting.
  • Support the development of healthcare analytics offered within Abacus' data solutions, along with creating related demo materials for sales efforts including payment integrity, medical cost management, value-based care, population health, risk adjustment, and HEDIS/Star rating.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to deliver compelling product demos that elevate customer engagement and drive sales success.
  • Integrate and analyze data across the sales pipeline to forecast revenue and identify market opportunities.
  • Build and maintain revenue and cost analytics to understand deal margin implications
  • Inform pricing strategies for Abacus' data products by analyzing product development and implementation cost data.
  • Lead client and prospect meetings to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities where Abacus can drive value.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5-10+ years of professional experience in a healthcare related company (payer, provider, vendor, consulting), with extensive experience in payment integrity.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare industry and financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adept at working in Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • A strong communicator—clear, polished, and empathetic.
  • A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and loves bringing structure to chaos.
  • Ability to engage external customers and prospects for sales purposes.

Nice to Have:

  • Subject matter expertise in healthcare data and analytics used by payers.
  • Experience in SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI.
  • An interest in healthcare tech, startups, and how companies grow.
  • A sense of humor and a love for figuring things out.
