About the Role

Spinnaker Analytics is looking for a creative, collaborative, and methodical Analyst to join our Boston team.

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with data and information, and turning analysis into meaningful insights. The role will involve working closely with both business and technical teams across a variety of projects and client requirements.

 What You'll Do

• Analyze data and business information to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and insights.
• Use a variety of tools and techniques to extract, organize, analyze, and visualize data.
• Work with business and technical teams to understand requirements and develop analytical solutions.
• Conduct research and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis across different projects.
• Build reports, dashboards, presentations, and other analytical deliverables to support business and client needs.
• Develop and track KPIs and other relevant business metrics.
• Work with data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve analytical processes, reporting, and workflows.
• Collaborate with team members across different functions and contribute to a positive, creative, and solution-oriented work environment.
• Take ownership of assigned projects and manage priorities effectively.
• Travel to and from client sites and other Spinnaker offices (approximately 5–10% of time annually)

 Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience is preferred, but candidates with strong academic, internship, project, or research experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with tools such as Python, Excel, Power BI, AI LLMs, or other platforms for data analysis, business intelligence, research, consulting, or similar work
• Exposure to databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, AI/automation tools, or statistical analysis is a plus
