This role is based in our Boston office on a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in-office).

We're looking for an AI Marketing Specialist to join the team behind MacPaw's fast-moving product lab that builds and ships AI-native applications at a high pace.

As an AI Marketing Specialist, you will own go-to-market execution for our portfolio of apps using AI as a core tool, not an afterthought. You'll design and run multi-variant ad campaigns, automate creative and copy workflows through generative AI, and work closely with product and to find what actually drives results. What you build here becomes the blueprint across marketing at MacPaw.

If you're excited to pioneer AI-native marketing inside a product company, and you want high visibility and real impact from day one, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute GTM strategy for a portfolio of fast-shipped AI-native apps.
  • Launch performance ad campaigns to drive sales and new user growth by leveraging advanced generative AI workflows (Claude, Midjourney, Runway, Copy.ai, Jasper) to rapidly spin up, test, and iterate multi-variant ad creatives and copy across Meta, Google, and other platforms.
  • Drive conversion rate, campaign, and budget optimization using AI-native web builders, predictive testing platforms, AI data agents, and machine learning algorithms to forecast market trends, segment highly targeted audiences, and automate real-time bidding and budget allocation.
  • Work directly with the product and design team, marketing, and analytics to set up tracking, dashboards, and reporting flows.
  • Experiment with new AI tools, evaluate what's actually worth adopting, and document what works so the broader team can learn from it.

Skills you'll need to bring:

  • 5+ years in data-driven Growth or Performance Marketing within SaaS or consumer subscription products, with hands-on multi-channel ad spend management.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), prompt engineering, and image/video generative AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, Copy.ai, Jasper or similar).
  • Expert-level proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Strong command of acquisition metrics — CAC, ROAS, ROMI, LTV, conversion rate, payback period — and the ability to actually move them.
  • Experience with campaign experimentation, optimization, and marketing automation.
  • Analytical mindset: comfortable working with performance data, not just reading it.
  • Ability to quickly learn and evaluate new tools and make a judgment call on what's worth the investment.
  • Strong problem-solving and hypothesis-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

As a plus:

  • Experience with AppsFlyer, Looker/Tableau or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience with attribution and incrementality testing.
