My VA Support is seeking an experienced Virtual Accountant Assistant with proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks. Applicants should have a high English proficiency level (C1) and are expected to work 45 hours per week from home.
Working Hours:
Our standard working hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Miami, FL time. However, this schedule may vary depending on our clients' needs.
Responsibilities:
As a Virtual Accountant Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Responding to emails
- Managing contact lists
- Handling complex Excel spreadsheets and formulas
- Sorting payroll and revenue data
- Taking client payroll data and transferring it into customized Excel templates
- Providing customer service as the first point of contact
- Additional duties may arise depending on the client's needs
Please note that as an independent contractor, you will be responsible for all contributions to any local or state government entities (income taxes, social security, health insurance, etc.).
Requirements
Candidates must possess the following skills:
- Proficiency with QuickBooks
- Financial skills in a spreadsheet environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft products like Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Microsoft Office)
- Comfort using Google apps such as Gmail, Meet, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, and others
Specific Requirements:
- A minimum of one year's experience with QuickBooks
- A minimum of one year's experience as an accountant assistant or in a related role
- Must have your own device, headset, and a high-speed internet connection of at least 100 MB
- Basic accounting or financial background
- Exceptional Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and formulas
- Strong numerical aptitude
