The Account Manager leads technical sales efforts, manages customer relationships, and drives the technology evaluation process for IP routing and data center solutions.
We are looking for a seasoned Technical Sales leader to provide strategic direction and leadership for our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of IP Routing, Datacenter Fabric, and Data Center Interconnect Solutions, along with the ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams. You will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining customer relationships, especially with technical and engineering teams, and driving the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.
Responsibilities
- Articulate technology and product positioning, developing strategies and value propositions for business and technical users.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, especially with technical and engineering teams, throughout the sales cycle.
- Apply deep market and technology understanding in the IP Routing, Datacenter Fabric, and Data Center Interconnect space.
- Lead and manage the technology evaluation stage, working closely with sales, technical, and business teams to create tailored solutions.
- Communicate professionally and consultatively, creating written responses, presentations, proposals, and reports.
- Organize and analyze customer challenges, employing creative and collaborative approaches to overcome them.
- Work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic team environment.
- Lead and mentor highly technical sales and/or sales engineering teams, demonstrating success in this area.
- Effectively communicate with members of other teams, departments, and customers, maintaining a high degree of liaison.
- Understand the key stages of solution development for complex infrastructure manufacturing production ramp.
- Extensive experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of assembling and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong existing relationships with senior leadership in Hyperscaler customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consult and present professionally.
- Highly organized and analytical, with a creative problem-solving approach.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience leading highly technical sales and/or sales engineering teams, with a history of success.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and customers, maintaining a high level of liaison.
- Understanding of the solution development process for complex infrastructure manufacturing.
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in Datacenter and edge deployments, along with experience with relevant standards, organizations, and consortiums.
- A strong understanding of the complex sales, test, and development activities required for Hyperscale accounts.
