Job Title: Account Manager (SMB and Mid-Market, SaaS)

Company Overview:

Prompt is revolutionizing healthcare by delivering highly automated and modern software to rehab therapy businesses, the teams within, and the patients they serve. As the fastest growing company in the therapy EMR space and the new standard in healthcare technology, we’re looking to bring on our very first Account Manager to help us scale our revenue growth engine.

This role is an unprecedented opportunity to have a direct impact on the growth of Prompt. You will manage a book of SMB and mid-market accounts (1–16 providers), identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and driving revenue expansion. You’ll work closely with Client Success, Sales, and Product to maximize account health and deliver additional value to our customers.

As the very first Account Manager at Prompt, you’ll also shape the long-term responsibilities of the position and lay the foundation for onboarding future team members as the department scales. We’re doing something special here, and this role will be critical in taking Prompt to the next level.

Why work for Prompt?

  • BIG Challenges: Here at Prompt, we are solving complex and unique problems that have plagued the healthcare industry since the dawn of time.

  • Talented People: Prompt didn't happen by chance, it's a team of incredibly talented and proven individuals who all made their mark before joining forces to build the greatest software on the planet for rehab therapists.

  • Healthy Approach: This isn't an investment bank, we work long hours when it's needed, but at Prompt you own your workload and the entire organization takes a liking to smart work (over hard work).

  • Positive Impact: Prompt helps outpatient rehab organizations treat more patients and deliver better care with less environmental waste. That means less surgery and less narcotic-based pain treatment, all while turning a paper-heavy industry digital. We aren't enthralled with patting ourselves on the back everyday, but it does feel good :)

The Role:

Our expectation of the role is that you will become an expert on the Prompt platform in order to manage and grow our SMB and mid-market paid product adoption. You will serve as a trusted advisor to accounts, identifying whitespace, presenting new products, and building strong relationships. You’ll play an essential role in driving Prompt’s growth by expanding revenue within existing clients while partnering with internal teams to ensure customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing accounts by proactively upselling additional licenses and cross-selling new products.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to uncover new opportunities.

  • Present Prompt’s suite of products (Prompt Kiosk, Prediction Health, Onus One, PT Wired, Prompt BI) to demonstrate value and ROI.

  • Conduct periodic business reviews with CSMs to identify whitespace, showcase value, and strengthen partnerships.

  • Accurately forecast opportunities, track pipeline, and maintain up-to-date records in CRM.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in Account Management or Sales, ideally in SaaS or HealthTech.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding revenue quotas.

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Highly organized, resourceful, and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.

  • Proficient with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), project management software, and analytics dashboards.

Preferred (Nice-to-have) Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with healthcare, particularly PT/OT/SLP practices.

  • PT/PTA background or clinical exposure.

  • Experience with Google Workspace, Hubspot, or similar productivity tools.

Perks - What you can expect:

  • Competitive salaries

  • Remote/hybrid environment

  • Potential equity compensation for outstanding performance

  • Flexible PTO

  • Company-wide sponsored lunches

  • Company paid disability and life insurance benefits

  • Company paid family and medical leave

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits

  • Discounted pet insurance

  • FSA/DCA and commuter benefits

  • 401k

  • Complimentary subscription to digital fitness classes and wellness content

  • Recovery suite at HQ – includes a cold plunge, sauna, and shower
