We’re looking for exceptional recent graduates and postgraduates to be part of our highly selective 18-month, rotational Global trainee program.

Your time as a 360 trainee will fast-track your career through real responsibility, international rotations, and direct exposure to EF’s senior leaders—but be warned, this program is not for everyone. If jet lag, long hours, and steep challenges put you off, look elsewhere. If you thrive when you can proactively problem solve, want to surround yourself with remarkable people, and are ready to move the business forward—this program may be just what you’re looking for.

As 360 Global Trainee, you will work closely with a senior EF leader who will mentor, challenge, and support you throughout your journey. Your tasks will be varied and unique--no assignment is too big or too small for a 360. We are seeking highly curious and forward-thinking candidates, with a strong interest in artificial intelligence and its application in business—though technical coding skills are not required. We value individuals who have the passion and capability to explore and think strategically about how AI can be leveraged to drive business innovation, amplify human potential and ensure a strong customer experience.

What you’ll do

  • Own impactful projects from day one
  • Start in our North American HQ (Boston) and rotate through 1–2 other offices.
  • Gain first-hand, front-line experience across EF’s core business functions—including sales, business development, customer experience, and market development—while engaging directly with our customer base in meaningful ways.
  • Participate in Global Trainee Summits designed for professional growth, networking, and collaboration with fellow Global Trainees and EF executives.
  • Build deep insight into the world’s largest privately-held international education company—its products, people, culture, and global mission

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree required, optional Master’s and/or 1–2 years of relevant work experience
  • Fluent in English (fluency in another language strongly preferred)
  • International work and/or study experience
  • Work authorization in the US without company sponsorship (if you have right to work in the EU/UK/Schengen, please apply to the Europe position)

What you’ll bring

  • Entrepreneurial drive and a “nothing is impossible” mindset
  • Leadership potential with strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Adaptability and problem-solving in fast-paced, multicultural settings
  • Global curiosity and openness to diverse cultures
  • Comfortable experimenting with AI tools in day-to-day work, with an eye for where they can improve efficiency, decision-making, or the customer experience

Annual compensation for this role is $75,000.

Next Steps
Applications open September 15–October 15, 2026, and are reviewed on a rolling basis. Cover letters are highly encouraged. If you have a technical background, please share your GitHub link as well.

The process includes:

  1. Application Screening and we promise that our team reviews every application ourselves, no AI on our end so we ask you do the same.
  2. Video Screening gives us a chance to get to know you beyond your CV and cover letter.
  3. Online Case interview with a member of our Global Recruiting and Employee Development team, the head of the 360 program, or former 360s to evaluate your experiences and skills and ultimately assess what potential mentors you could be paired with.
  4. Assessment Day for a small group of finalists hosted in Boston in December 2026/January 2027. During Assessment Day you will take on a real-life case challenge, tackle a group activity and most importantly meet with Senior leaders across EF who could become your mentor.

The program starts in September 2027—will you be joining us?

About Us
Some companies are in the business of banking. Others are in the business of shoes. Or sports. Or soft drinks. At EF, we're in a different kind of business. One that's a little less tangible, and a lot more important. Because our business, what we make, makes everything else possible. We're in the business of understanding. Between people. Between cultures.

For over half a century we’ve been the leader in international educational programs and experiences designed to foster such understanding.  Through language, cultural exchange, academic studies, and educational travel, we create the kinds of immersive experiences that challenge biases, open minds, and pave the way for a more understanding world.

You’ll find our offices and schools located in some of the world’s greatest cities, and filled with smart, driven people (over 50,000 of us) who push each other to be better every day. But it’s what we do together - building greater understanding, breaking down barriers, and creating a better world - that makes all the difference.

Founded in 1965 in Sweden, EF (Education First) is a global association of education companies that share a common mission of opening the world through education. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)

  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
