Lexi

Lexi is a Harvard HealthLab-backed startup on a mission to make healthcare safer, more inclusive, and more effective for patients with limited English proficiency (LEP). We use real-time, AI-powered medical interpretation to help providers and patients communicate clearly across languages. Lexi recently won the Grand Prize at the HBS New Venture Competition, is a finalist in the President’s Innovation Challenge, and received an iF Design Award alongside Apple and IBM. We’re actively testing our platform with healthcare systems in Massachusetts and beyond. We're combining state-of-the-art speech and language models with deep clinical insight and a focus on health equity. We're looking for technically strong, socially conscious interns to help us build tools that meet people where they are—linguistically and culturally.
