Boston’s local tech startups are hard at work raking in millions in funding and fueling intense hiring initiatives. Funds are being poured into hourly work platforms, green tech startups and more. Read on to see what you may have missed. This is the Built In Boston Weekly Refresh. 

Openly raised $75M. Tech-backed homeowner insurance startup Openly raised $75 million in its Series C funding round from Advance Venture Partners, Clocktower Ventures, Obvious Ventures, Gradient Ventures, PJC Ventures, Techstars and Mtech. With its new capital, Openly is focusing on enhancing its technology and insurance product offering. [FinSMEs]

JobGet pulled in $52M. Hourly work platform JobGet raised $52 million last week in its Series B funding round along with $12 million in venture debt financing co-led by JAZZ Venture Partners and Sanabil Investments. Through the platform, job seekers can locate nearby hourly job openings and speak directly with hiring agents. JobGet CEO and co-founder Tony Liu told Built In via email that the company’s fresh funding will go toward hiring and market expansions. [Built In Boston]

Seurat Technologies’ hiring spree. Seurat Technologies, a local green tech startup that uses 3D printing technology to produce metal parts, is eyeing major hiring opportunities. The current 73-person team will grow 10x by 2025. Hiring efforts will include both remote and in-person roles. Seurat’s hiring efforts come a year after its $41 million Series B round and subsequent extension raise of $21 million. To date, the company has brought in $79 million in total funding. LogRocket raked in $25M. LogRocket, a six-year-old web analytics company, raked in $25 million in its Series C funding round co-led by Delta-v Capital and Battery Ventures. LogRocket helps large enterprise software teams catch issues and bugs on company websites that impact consumers. With its new capital, LogRocket plans to focus heavily on enhancing its machine learning capabilities and hiring additional employees. [Built In Boston]

Willow was featured in the Future 5 seriesWillow is a dual business-to-business and business-to-consumer platform that provides financial education, personalized coaching and life journey support to women. Through Willow’s platform, women can receive personalized financial guidance with a focus on top stressors such as divorce, grief, fertility, family building, entrepreneurship or retirement. Starburst acquired Varada. Data analytics company Starburst acquired similar data lake company Varada for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition allows Starburst to have access to Varada’s proprietary technology that can help large enterprises easily define raw data sets. In addition to the acquisition, Starburst is hiring.
