If you’re a versatile and hands-on interdisciplinary problem solver who loves to take things apart (and put them back together), we want you to join us and work on the Electrical Build Team.

The job:

• Debug printers, write scripts, and collect and analyze data for R&D efforts
• Improve the efficiency of the EE team while maintaining and growing the awesomest EE lab
• Create and maintain design documentation, component libraries, sourcing, and BOMs with exacting precision
• Order parts and supplies, build and test PCBs and cables, run experiments, and coordinate work with outside vendors

You:

• Are a jack-of-all trades who is just as comfortable at the lab bench as you are in the tool shop
• Are familiar with electronic tools, components, and processes (PCBs, multimeters, soldering and re-working boards, crimping connectors, etc.)
• Are a born problem-solver who loves to work on puzzles
• An organized, autonomous, and focused independent operator
• Able to balance a wide variety of projects on tight deadlines
• Ready to build, test, or tweak whatever needs to be done
• Love working hands-on with mechanical and electrical hardware
• Work with a fanatic and meticulous attention to detail and organization
• Identify problems before they become problems

Bonus:

• IPC soldering certification
• Experience with Python scripting
• Consumer appliance or electronics repair experience
• Familiarity with manufacturing and quality control practices
