At Constant Contact, we are seriously awesome people who take ownership and make an impact by operating with the mindset, integrity and courage of a small business owner. There’s something so profoundly rewarding about knowing that your work is empowering people everywhere to pursue their dreams.  Here, we all play an integral part in helping business owners, entrepreneurs, non-profits and individuals to succeed by giving them all the help and tools they need to grow online. We’re energized by new challenges and new possibilities-and we’re just getting started!

As a Workplace Experience Partner, you’ll own the day-to-day experience of our Waltham office, which serves as our headquarters. As part of the HR / People Experience team, you’ll be at the center of how the office operates — handling real-time needs, supporting employees as your customers, and ensuring everything from daily operations to events runs smoothly across the physical and digital workplace. You’ll also partner closely with HR on key employee lifecycle moments, including onboarding, orientation, and offboarding. This role plays a key part in keeping the office running efficiently and at a high standard every day.

What you’ll do:

  • Own day-to-day workplace operations for the Waltham HQ, ensuring the office runs smoothly and employees have a seamless in-office experience
  • Act as the front line for the office — supporting employees, leaders, vendors, and guests, and handling real-time needs as they come up
  • Manage vendor relationships end-to-end, including PO creation, invoicing, and budget tracking
  • Oversee facilities and building operations, including submitting and managing service requests, coordinating with property management, and troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Manage mail, shipping, and logistics (FedEx, large shipments, internal requests), and improve processes where possible
  • Support employee lifecycle moments in partnership with HR, including onboarding, orientation, and offboarding logistics
  • Lead execution of in-office events and engagement initiatives (catering, vendors, logistics, space planning)
  • Support affinity groups and internal teams with programming and coordination
  • Handle employee requests and workplace issues through a mix of ticketing systems and direct support, balancing planned work with reactive needs
  • Maintain office supplies, inventory, and overall workspace readiness
  • Partner across IT, Sales, Finance, and leadership to support day-to-day office needs
  • Continuously look for ways to improve how the workplace operates and runs

Who you are:

  • Organized and able to prioritize effectively across multiple competing needs
  • Proactive and takes ownership — you don’t wait to be told what to do
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-office environment where things change quickly
  • Strong communicator and easy to work with across teams
  • Willing to jump in and figure things out, even when things aren’t fully defined
  • Experience with Google Suite or similar tools
  • Nice to have: experience in a similar role (office, workplace, operations, hospitality, etc.)
  • Open to early-career candidates, including recent graduates, who are eager to learn and grow

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location. In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
