The Business Application Team in Austin is looking for a driven, Workday Sr. Analyst to join our team to ensure that core HR business processes are supported, maintained, and constantly improving. As a key member of our Team, you will be reporting to the Workday Technical Manager. 

 

What You'll Do:

 

As a Senior Workday Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our Workday platform, with a focus on Core HCM and Benefits. You’ll partner with HR, Benefits, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver scalable, effective solutions within Workday. In this role, you’ll lead configurations, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the platform is optimized for efficiency and compliance. You’ll also support and enhance integrations between Workday and third-party systems, contribute to reporting and analytics, and guide the organization through Workday feature releases and upgrades.

 

Key responsibilities of a Workday Senior Analyst: 

 

Workday HCM & Benefits

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Core HCM and Benefits modules, including design, configuration, testing, and support

  • Drive the maintenance and continuous improvement of Workday Core HCM, including organizational structure, position management, and employee lifecycle processes

  • Administer and configure Workday Benefits, including plans, eligibility rules, enrollment events, and annual open enrollment

  • Partner with Benefits, Total Rewards, and HR teams to implement new benefit offerings and ensure system alignment

  • Collaborate with HR, Benefits, Payroll, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions

  • Manage and support Open Enrollment and other cyclical HR events from a system perspective

Workday Integrations Support

  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations with third-party vendors (e.g., benefits administrators, carriers, payroll)

  • Build and maintain simple integrations using EIBs and Core Connectors; assist in updates to Studio-built integrations as needed

  • Partner with internal IT and external vendors to manage system interfaces and ensure data accuracy and timeliness

System Maintenance & Support

  • Serve as a technical expert for configuration updates, release management, and system testing

  • Develop custom reports and dashboards to meet business needs.

  • Provide day-to-day system support, resolving user issues and managing Workday cases or escalations

  • Maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and integration flows

 

Who Are You:

  • 5+ years of Workday experience with a focus on Core HCM and Benefits

  • Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirements.

  • Experience supporting Workday Open Enrollment events.

  • Hands-on experience with Workday integrations including EIB, Core Connectors, and understanding of Workday Studio.

  • Strong working knowledge of Workday security, business processes, and data structures

  • Proficient in Workday reporting tools, including Report Writer, Advanced Reports, and Calculated Fields

  • Experience supporting Workday releases, including testing, impact analysis, and deployment of new features.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday certifications in HCM, Benefits, and/or Integrations

  • Exposure to Workday Studio and complex integrations is a plus

(Pay Transparency Range: $96,000 - $161,000)

The exact salary will be dependent on the successful candidate’s location, relevant knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
