Job Description:
The Workday Project Manager is perfect for someone with several years of Workday experience who’s ready to take on more responsibility and grow deeper into Workday consulting. In this role, you’ll support finance and HR transformation projects, often centered on Workday cloud applications, and play a key part in keeping projects organized, clients supported, and teams moving forward.
You’ll work closely with Consultants, Engagement Managers, and technical team members to support both implementation and post-production work. If you enjoy being at the center of a project, partnering with clients, and jumping in wherever needed, you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Be DoingSupporting finance and HR transformation projects across functional areas such as HCM, Talent, and Financials
Managing core project coordination activities including schedules, timelines, staffing needs, budgets, and deliverables
Acting as a point of contact for clients on day-to-day project coordination items
Supporting and guiding technical team members by helping keep priorities, timelines, and dependencies clear
Assisting with client-facing materials, status reporting, testing support, and documentation
Helping ensure project application requirements are understood, including basic functional and non-functional needs
Partnering with project leaders to identify risks, issues, and gaps early and help drive resolution
Keeping project tools, trackers, and documentation accurate and up to date
Continuing to build expertise in Workday cloud applications and implementation methodology
Jumping in wherever needed to help deliver great outcomes for our clients
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in consulting
Experience in Workday, HR technology, or enterprise cloud solutions
Experience supporting projects with multiple workstreams, stakeholders, or timelines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear, confident written and verbal communication
Comfort working with both client stakeholders and technical team members
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience supporting finance or HR transformation initiatives
Familiarity with project management tools or methodologies
Prior experience in professional services or consulting environments
