By joining CrossVue you’ll be making a direct impact on our growing Workday practice, regularly taking part in:

  • Advising key stakeholders through selection, transformation, implementation, and configuration of Workday. Our consultants are hands-on involved in full-scale implementation, project management, change management, requirements and design, process improvement, testing, integration enablement support, overseeing supplier enablement, and best practices  
  • Contributing beyond client delivery, including, but not limited to recruiting, coaching, marketing, business development, practice development, operational improvement, and beyond
  • Implementing performance improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

CrossVue’s Industry Deployment Strategist will provide the end-to-end Workday solution design for prospects and clients within the Workday Financials vertical. This role will have in-depth knowledge of the Workday solution, methodology, and project estimating requirements to support a successful deployment and business transformation. The Industry Deployment Strategist, Financials will focus on supporting strategic planning, industry development, sales strategy & execution, marketing, and partnerships for a specific vertical. Together with the industry and delivery leader team, this role will drive industry innovation, support the execution of internal sales operations, processes, and go-to market strategy. The Industry Deployment Strategist will look for new ways to create new offerings & approaches, and ‘think out of the box’ on how to continue to grow CrossVue in a specific industry.

Role Objectives

  • Partner with the delivery and industry leadership team to execute CrossVue’s strategic objectives, growth plans and go to market strategy

  • Maximize the effectiveness of the CrossVue methodology and processes to support competitive industry solutions, market differentiation, and thought leadership

  • Drive delivery excellence with consistent messaging, approaches, content, and tools across the company

  • Support business development, client satisfaction, and client retention by leading the development and execution of industry specific solutions and thought leadership

As a Workday Industry Deployment Strategist, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Leverage combined knowledge and expertise of the industry to architect solutions and help prospects and clients overcome complex business challenges

  • Support sales pursuits and engage with clients, predicting and understanding their needs, determining how our services meet the needs, and guiding /enhancing sales decks, collateral, proposals, and statements of work

  • Instill confidence in our solution for the client and internal team members by demonstrating how solutions and delivery methods bring value and improvements to the clients’ existing processes/plans or methodologies

  • Lead cross-functional capability team. Provide industry-specific thought leadership, guidance, education, and best practices to improve notoriety, efficiency and effectiveness within vertical

  • Identify, document and share industry specific solutions based on project experience and client feedback

  • Partner with Business Development teams and consulting to develop staffing, budgeting and planning for new engagements, including development of proposals, SOWs.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years of Workday consulting experience, including WD Financials implementation, full platform implementation, and support experience

  • One or more current active Workday Financials certifications

  • Experience partnering with Business Development and Consulting teams to develop staffing, budgeting and planning for new engagements, including development of proposals, SOWs

  • Prior knowledge in full platform HR technology such as Workday or similar systems, as well as expertise in transforming and improving HR Process, is preferred

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills including comfort with executive audiences

  • Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships

  • Unwavering commitment to a service mindset and delivering with excellence for our clients

  • Proven business development proficiency, with strong networking skills

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a “big picture” perspective

  • Creativity, confidence, and flexibility

  • High energy, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit

A Note on Travel: Our approach to travel is different. Instead of the traditional Monday-Thursday grind, we thoughtfully schedule on-site client visits based on project needs and team well-being. Expect travel for this position to range from 15-25%, occasionally reaching up to 50% for critical project phases.
