Job Description


The Workday Finance Reporting Analyst is critical to ensuring accurate, insightful, and actionable reporting across our multi-state nonprofit healthcare system. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Workday reporting tools, a solid understanding of financial processes, and a passion for enabling data-driven decision-making in a mission-driven environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with functional leads, implementation partners, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.

  • Design, build, and test custom reports using Workday tools such as Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, and Dashboards.

  • Support data validation and reconciliation efforts during conversion and testing cycles.

  • Assist in developing reporting strategies aligned with organizational goals and compliance needs.

  • Document report specifications, logic, and usage guidelines.

  • Maintain and enhance existing reports to meet evolving business needs.

  • Provide end-user support and training on Workday reporting capabilities.

  • Monitor report performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.

  • Partner with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.

  • Stay current with Workday releases and recommend improvements or new features.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Experience supporting Workday implementations or upgrades.

  • Familiarity with healthcare finance operations and nonprofit reporting requirements.

  • Knowledge of Workday Security and how it impacts report access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization tools

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
