Leads and supports hospital performance improvement initiatives focused on patient care quality, safety, efficiency, and operational effectiveness. Also precepts pharmacy students and technicians and assumes pharmacy department operations when the Director is absent.

Manages the hospital’s clinical research program, including study operations, ethical recruitment and consent of pediatric participants, regulatory compliance, subject safety, data quality and safeguarding. Serves as liaison among participants, study staff, investigators and sponsors; coordinates standardized staff practices and interdisciplinary collaboration while supporting clinical research initiatives.

Manages the pediatric operating room’s clinical and administrative functions, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality care for orthopedic and burn patients. Administer and configure Workday HCM, Benefits, Absence, and Compensation modules, with additional support for Workday Financials or Supply Chain Management. Maintain business processes, eligibility rules, validations, reporting structures, and data accuracy; troubleshoot user issues, implement releases and enhancements, and partner with HR leadership and operations.

Leads multiple healthcare IT projects from planning through delivery, managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, changes, communications, testing, and stakeholder expectations. Coordinates with software vendors including Cerner, monitors project progress and expenditures, facilitates meetings, maintains governance documentation, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope. Mentors employees on project management methodologies and processes.

Coordinates and oversees retrospective clinical research studies, ensuring protocol compliance, GCP and regulatory adherence, IRB submissions, data privacy, and participant protections. Manages study data collection, quality control, database activities, data cleaning, and query resolution. Supports protocol development, study reporting, abstracts, manuscripts, and regulatory documentation. Collaborates with investigators, sponsors, legal, compliance, and research teams while mentoring staff on clinical research processes and ethical standards.

Analyzes revenue cycle data, denials, pre-bill edits, payer trends, and financial impacts for California locations. Performs root cause analysis, develops corrective action plans, monitors performance, and presents recommendations to leadership. Partners with clinical, operational, patient access, contact center, and vendor teams to improve clean claim rates, reduce denials, prevent claim barriers, and optimize net revenue.

Administer and configure Workday Core HCM, Benefits, and Compensation for international HR teams in Canada and Mexico. Maintain business processes, eligibility rules, validations, reporting, data integrity, compliance, and bilingual documentation. Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, coordinate Workday release testing, and partner with HR leadership and local teams on regional legislation, healthcare requirements, and governance.

Develops, edits, and proofreads compelling content for print and digital communications across Shriners Children's and Shriners International. Writes features, educational materials, collateral, newsletters, speeches, and scripts; conducts research and interviews; manages complex projects through approvals and production; and coordinates with designers and stakeholders. Provides strategic messaging input, identifies story opportunities, maintains editorial and brand standards, and supports cross-departmental communications while managing multiple priorities independently.

Leads the IS Business Office, overseeing contracting, procurement, asset management, budgeting, financial planning, vendor management, and business workflows. Supervises and develops staff, standardizes practices across sites, supports strategic sourcing and long-term planning, ensures compliant IS agreements, and provides information for decision-making, procurement justifications, and audits.

The Workday Senior Systems Analyst configures, supports, enhances, and optimizes Workday across HCM, Payroll, Financials, and Supply Chain. Responsibilities include designing integrations, configuring business processes, managing security, developing reports, troubleshooting complex issues, supporting releases, documenting solutions, training users, and partnering with HR, Finance, Supply Chain, audit, and IT teams to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant operations.

Creates and maintains Epic provider scheduling templates, reviews schedule change requests, and optimizes appointment types, provider capacity, patient access, and productivity. Collaborates with clinical and administrative stakeholders to improve scheduling processes, documents requests in ServiceNow, supports Epic Cadence functionality, monitors template use, provides technical support, and assists with training, presentations, and scheduling-related projects.
