Leads and supports hospital performance improvement initiatives focused on patient care quality, safety, efficiency, and operational effectiveness. Evaluates workflows, analyzes metrics, updates dashboards, maps processes, and collaborates with cross-functional teams on redesign efforts. Uses Lean Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis methodologies, develops training materials and SOPs, and presents project findings and recommendations to leadership and committees.

Provides clinical and operational pharmacy services in a pediatric hospital. Reviews drug orders, prepares and dispenses medications and sterile compounds, manages inventory and controlled-substance records, evaluates patient-specific pharmacotherapy, supports medication event tracking, and supervises pharmacy technicians. Also precepts pharmacy students and technicians and assumes pharmacy department operations when the Director is absent.

Manages the hospital’s clinical research program, including study operations, ethical recruitment and consent of pediatric participants, regulatory compliance, subject safety, data quality and safeguarding. Serves as liaison among participants, study staff, investigators and sponsors; coordinates standardized staff practices and interdisciplinary collaboration while supporting clinical research initiatives.
