Are you an accomplished Product Marketing Professional? Able to lead from the front, mentoring and motivating a (small) global team? Do you have hands on experience across government and regulated industries? Are you ready to own and lead Product Marketing across a growing SaaS solutions provider? 

We are Preservica, a global leader in Active Digital Preservation, trusted by organizations to preserve their most important digital records for decades to come. From national archives and government agencies to universities and global enterprises, our customers rely on us to ensure critical information remains accessible, compliant, and defensible.

Right now we're looking for a VP, Product Marketing to lead our global product marketing function and play a pivotal role in our next phase of growth.

Reporting directly to the COO, you'll own the global product marketing strategy, build and lead a high-performing US team, and unify our existing UK product marketing team into a single world-class function. Your work will directly influence how the market understands Preservica, how we expand into new sectors, and how we position ourselves as the leader in Active Digital Preservation. 


What You'll Do

  • Own the Global Product Marketing Function - Lead product marketing across the business, bringing together teams in the US and UK under a single strategy, messaging framework, launch calendar, and set of priorities.
  • Define Positioning & Messaging - Create compelling market narratives that resonate with both our established customer base and new growth markets, particularly those operating in highly regulated environments where compliance, governance, audit readiness, and retention obligations are critical.
  • Drive Expansion into New Markets - Identify and evaluate new segments, develop market-entry strategies, and equip go-to-market teams with the positioning, proof points, and enablement needed to win. 
  • Partner with Product Leadership - Work closely with Product Management to ensure customer and market insights influence the roadmap while translating future product innovation into compelling launch strategies.
  • Enable Sales & Channel Success - Create impactful sales and partner enablement programmes that drive adoption and support revenue growth across direct and indirect channels.
  • Elevate Demand Generation - Provide clear messaging, audience insights, and value propositions that help demand marketing teams maximise awareness, engagement, and conversion. 
  • Expand Our Microsoft Ecosystem Story - Help strengthen the market positioning of Preserve365, highlighting the value of Active Digital Preservation within Microsoft 365 environments and the broader Microsoft partner ecosystem.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will have:

✅ Established a unified global positioning and messaging framework

✅ Built a repeatable go-to-market motion for at least one new growth segment

✅ Delivered enablement programmes that sales teams and partners actively use

✅ Identified and addressed key positioning gaps through evidence-led strategy

✅ Created a single, high-performing global product marketing organization

✅ Developed a strong operating rhythm with Product Management that influences both launches and roadmap decisions


About You

You are a strategic and hands-on product marketing leader who thrives in high-growth SaaS environments.

You'll likely bring:

  • Significant experience leading Product Marketing within a scaling SaaS business
  • A track record of building and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience managing distributed global teams across the US and international markets
  • Strong understanding of regulated industries, compliance, governance, records management, or related sectors
  • Proven success developing positioning, messaging, launch strategies, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Credibility and influence with Product Management and executive stakeholders
  • A bias for action and the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-centric thinking
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate productivity and decision-making
  • Experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem or partner channel (highly desirable)
