We’re looking for a Vice President of Partnerships to lead Trullion’s next phase of growth by cultivating a world-class ecosystem of alliances that expands our reach, drives adoption, and delivers measurable business impact. This role is for a strategic, hands-on leader who knows how to turn relationships into results connecting Trullion with leading accounting advisory firms, consulting firms, and audit networks to shape a new category in AI-powered accounting.

As VP Partnerships, you will own Trullion’s global partner ecosystem from strategy and structure to execution and growth. You’ll lead relationships with consulting firms, channel networks, and Big 4 organizations, translating partnerships into revenue, visibility, and long-term impact. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and the Executive Team to embed partnerships at the heart of our go-to-market strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Build & Execute the Global Partnership Strategy- Define and operationalize Trullion’s ecosystem strategy across partners, advisory firms, and channel networks, aligning it to growth priorities.
  • Own Strategic Relationships- Develop and nurture C-level relationships within Big 4s, top-tier consulting firms, ERP platforms, and industry associations to position Trullion as a trusted AI accounting leader.
  • Revenue Growth Through Partners- Drive partner-sourced and influenced pipeline, enabling Sales alignment and measurable business outcomes. KPIs: Partner-sourced opportunities, closed-won revenue, active partner programs.
  • Build a Scalable Partner Engine- Design onboarding, enablement, and co-marketing motions for new partners. Create structured processes and partner success models.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally- Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Solutions Engineering to ensure partners are integrated into the GTM engine, creating seamless client experiences.
  • Market Positioning & Thought Leadership- Represent Trullion in industry events, webinars, and joint initiatives, strengthening brand presence and thought leadership.
  • Operational Excellence & Insights- Track partnership performance using data-driven metrics and provide ongoing reporting, insights, and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Partnerships, Alliances, Business Development, or Corporate Strategy within SaaS or Enterprise Software.
  • Proven success building and scaling partner ecosystems that drive measurable revenue impact.
  • Strong familiarity with Big 4 firms, consulting ecosystems, or ERP technology alliances.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence across C-suite stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Experience leading small teams and managing cross-functional alignment.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to articulate complex value propositions simply and persuasively.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
