Summary: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Leader to oversee and optimize the performance and reliability of our production environments. This role is pivotal in ensuring our cloud-native applications are robust, efficient, and meet industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the DevOps, SRE, and Infrastructure Engineering teams to enhance service reliability and performance.
  • Oversee the production environments for SaaS or cloud-native applications, ensuring uptime and efficiency.
  • Engage directly with customers to discuss reliability, maintain SLAs, and communicate during incidents.
  • Drive the implementation of Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Helm.
  • Utilize observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry to monitor and improve system performance.
  • Implement and maintain compliance with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP.
  • Prepare and present technical documentation and reports for executive and customer-facing contexts.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering leadership roles.
  • Proven track record managing production environments for SaaS or cloud-native applications.
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers on reliability, SLAs, and incident communication.
  • Strong technical expertise in Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and IaC (Terraform, Helm, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive and customer-facing contexts.
