Job Description:

The VP, Growth & Alliances supports the Creative Practice Area, inclusive of Performance Creative, Media, and CRM, while facilitating the pitch process across the business. You will work with both existing client partners and brands while identifying and responding to new client engagement opportunities.

This role routinely interfaces with SVP, EVP, and C-level dentsu leadership, in addition to senior client executives. You will report to our SVP, Growth & Alliances.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who loves bringing people together by overseeing the pitch process through problem-solving and coaching teams to develop winning growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all new business activities, participating in the planning and follow-up of growth efforts and projects.
  • Lead the development of RFP and RFI responses in partnership with agency leaders.
  • Partner with Growth leadership in the development of revenue growth strategies, with an emphasis on new client acquisition.
  • Translate creative, media, data, and technology capabilities into compelling agency stories and win strategies.
  • Partner with pitch teams and agency departments to ensure all aspects of the new business process are completed according to schedule and expectations.
  • Gather client and competitive intelligence to help develop winning pitch strategies.
  • Maintain agency credentials, case studies, biographies, and presentation materials.
  • Support opportunities involving Performance Creative solutions, including full-funnel marketing, creative testing and optimization, and data-informed messaging strategies.
  • Prepare consulting agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and new business proposals.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience managing pitch processes across multiple industry categories.
  • Experience with the marketing function, including what drives CMO-level decisions, and translating agency capabilities into compelling win strategies.
  • Understanding of Performance Creative and how creative, media, data, and technology work together to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience supporting RFPs/RFIs involving full-funnel marketing, performance marketing, or programmatic solutions.
  • Familiarity with creative testing, optimization, audience-based targeting, and performance measurement.
  • Working knowledge of marketing technologies such as Adobe, Salesforce, Optimizely, Flashtalking, Clinch, or similar platforms.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles and Detroit). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.

The annual salary range for this position is $136,850-$185,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
