Lead corporate accounting and financial reporting for the company and international subsidiaries, ensuring GAAP compliance, managing treasury and cash forecasts, driving shared services and centralized treasury, coordinating audits and external providers, and supervising a global remote finance team while partnering cross-functionally to align financial strategy.
YOU WILL:
Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the company and its foreign subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards (GAAP).
- Monitor the accuracy of financial data and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded
- Analyze financial data for patterns, trends, and anomalies, and recommend corrective action as necessary
Financial Governance:
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Supervise the preparation and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Provide financial guidance and support to department heads, and ensure that all financial decisions are in alignment with the organization’s strategic goals
- Coordinate external audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Ensure continued communication with external third-party providers in different countries
Treasury and Cash Management:
- Drive short term and long term cash-flow forecast and cash management initiatives
- Organize a centralized treasury management process
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor an international diverse team of finance professionals
- Develop a shared services approach to reduce closing timing
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, including operations, legal, and HR, to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and federal and state tax laws
- Proven experience in managing financial operations for international subsidiaries in a global organization
- Experience successfully managing a global shared services accounting team
- Experience in leading and managing remote teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with Workday Finance module preferred
- Professional services industry expertise (particularly HR and staffing services) is a plus
