SharkNinja is seeking a visionary and strategically minded VP, Commerce Media to lead the company's commerce strategy across Retail Media, Amazon, and Direct‑to‑Consumer (DTC). Thia is a new, high‑visibility, enterprise‑impact role leading both long‑term strategic direction and near‑term performance optimization. This leader will serve as the connective tissue between brand media's demand generation, and lower‑funnel commerce activation-building a unified full‑funnel, commerce‑driven media ecosystem that drives profitable growth across business priorities.
A deeply consultative and advisory leader, this role will be responsible for shaping investment strategy, advancing our retail and commerce media capabilities, developing solutions that close the bridge demand generation and demand capture, and ensuring SharkNinja is maximizing performance across all digital commerce touchpoints. The role will also build a strong partnership across SharkNinja performance teams (DTC, AMZ, R.com).
Responsibilities
Commerce Strategy & Full-Funnel Integration
  • Lead SharkNinja's end‑to‑end commerce media strategy across Retail Media, Amazon Advertising, and DTC performance channels.
  • Build and operationalize a full‑funnel commerce framework that bridges brand media, mid‑funnel demand generation, and lower‑funnel conversion.
  • Partner closely with Brand Media leadership to connect planning, measurement, and optimization across the entire consumer journey.
  • Define and evangelize a unified commerce vision that drives incremental growth across high‑priority categories.
Investment Strategy & Performance Management
  • Own top‑down and bottom‑up investment strategy across commerce channels, balancing efficiency, growth, and strategic brand objectives.
  • Lead annual and quarterly commerce planning cycles, setting clear business‑aligned goals, beacons, and KPIs.
  • Build solutions and playbooks that enhance full‑funnel ROI, conversion efficiency, and commerce performance.
  • Develop SKU‑level strategies to maximize performance for hero, accelerator, and priority innovation items.
Leadership & Cross‑Functional Alignment
  • Manage and mentor the Retail Media team; provide dotted‑line leadership to Amazon Media and DTC performance teams.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Marketing, Sales, IMC, and Finance leaders-aligning commerce strategy with broader business goals.
  • Drive cross-functional operating rhythm: integrated planning, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and performance readouts.
  • Build strong partnerships with retailers, Amazon, media agencies, and platform partners.
Data, Measurement & Innovation
  • Champion measurement excellence across MMM, MTA, path-to-purchase analytics, audience strategy, and incrementality frameworks.
  • Identify and operationalize new commerce media opportunities, emerging platforms, and retail media innovations.
  • Collaborate with Insights, Analytics, and Retail partners to develop dashboards and learning agendas that elevate decision‑making.
  • Lead testing and innovation roadmap to continuously advance SharkNinja's commerce maturity.

What You'll Bring
Qualifications
  • 12+ years in commerce media, retail media, performance marketing, or full‑funnel media leadership (CPG, retail, or high-growth consumer categories preferred).
  • A passion for innovation, a bias for action, and a track record of driving measurable business growth through media, and global transformation
  • Proven ability to build full‑funnel strategies that connect brand and performance media.
  • Deep expertise in Amazon Advertising, Retail Media Networks (RMNs), and/or DTC performance channels.
  • Experience managing complex budgets, agency relationships, and cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with fluency in media measurement, attribution, and data-informed decision making.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in high‑growth consumer brands or multi-category portfolio environments.
  • Demonstrated success driving SKU‑level performance and retailer‑aligned media activation.
  • Deep understanding of retail partnerships, platform negotiations, and commerce technology stacks.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
