Job Overview:

The Strategy & Growth (S&G) organization unites strategy, experience design, and innovation to enhance the end‑to‑end client journey for advisors, enterprises, and institutions. S&G plays a pivotal role in defining the firm’s strategic direction while delivering scalable, differentiating solutions that fuel advisor success. Our mission: proactively identify and address our clients’ most significant challenges and position LPL as the destination of choice in Wealth Management.

Within S&G, the Advisor Business Line Strategy team stewards the evolution of LPL’s affiliation models for independent‑minded financial advisors. We are seeking a strategic, execution‑oriented leader to accelerate growth—particularly within our supported models—while strengthening the effectiveness of our recruiting and realignment processes.

Reporting to the SVP, Advisor Business Line Strategy – Growth & Profitability, this leader is accountable for defining and managing the enterprise realignment strategy and roadmap. You will convert firm‑level targets into actionable plans, oversee key pilots and initiatives, and build seamless pathways for advisors entering or transitioning across LPL’s affiliation models. You will collaborate closely with Business Development, Marketing, Distribution, Success Management, Affiliation Consulting, Transitions, Field Leadership, and executive stakeholders to deliver coordinated execution across the entire advisor acquisition and conversion funnel.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead growth strategy and execution across affiliation models, with emphasis on supported models.
  • Own and refine the enterprise realignment strategy and multi‑year roadmap informed by advisor insights, performance data, competitive intelligence, and pilot outcomes.
  • Plan and execute initiatives that expand awareness, deepen engagement, accelerate decision cycles, and increase adoption of supported models.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to scale the realignment engine, including marketing, education, pre‑qualification, consultations, economic analyses, onboarding, and post‑conversion support.
  • Serve as strategic lead for advisor experience improvements, eliminating friction and elevating satisfaction, growth, and retention.
  • Create compelling executive narratives and strategic reporting.
  • Influence value levers—pricing, incentives, business support, competitive positioning—to increase realignment volume.
  • Advise senior leaders and shape the long‑term evolution of LPL’s affiliation strategy and ecosystem.
