Strategic Sourcing - Data Center Infrastructure Equipment and Fit Out
What You’ll Do:
The Strategic Sourcing team is responsible for building and scaling CoreWeave’s global supplier ecosystem to support rapid data center growth. The team partners closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Construction, and Sales to ensure OFCI equipment and professional services are sourced competitively, reliably, and at scale across CoreWeave’s expanding portfolio.
Category Strategy & Planning- Develop and execute category strategies for assigned OFCI equipment and professional services
- Translate capital plans and sales forecasts into rolling 12-month sourcing and budget plans
- Provide accurate cost, schedule, and risk inputs to Development and Program teams
- Lead RFPs, negotiations, and contract awards to secure commercial value, risk mitigation, and performance commitments
- Support sales by providing competitive NRC pricing for customer deals as required
- Ensure sourcing strategies align with CoreWeave policies, standards, and long-term business objectives
- Own procurement and delivery oversight for data center fit-out categories, including mechanical and electrical infrastructure such as HACs, CACs, RPPs, power distribution, cooling systems, controls, fire/life safety, and low-voltage systems, ensuring alignment with design standards, project schedules, cost targets, and supplier performance expectations.
- Establish and track supplier KPIs (cost, delivery, quality, capacity, responsiveness)
- Lead supplier performance improvement initiatives and periodic business reviews
- Assess market conditions and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply and capacity risk
- Maintain sourcing documentation, business process flows, and training materials
- Continuously improve sourcing processes to increase speed, quality, and total cost of ownership outcomes
- Partner with stakeholders to assess business impacts and manage sourcing-related risks
- Support construction teams by sourcing OFCI equipment and construction-related services aligned to project schedules
- Resolve technical or commercial sourcing issues in collaboration with engineering and project teams
- Ensure suppliers receive and execute against the latest design standards and specifications
- Track equipment inventory and recommend redeployment to avoid unnecessary capital spend
- Procure and manage logistics, storage, rigging, and transportation services as required
- Support receiving transactions and documentation within Workday for audit compliance
About the role:
The Strategic Sourcing Manager owns category strategy, supplier selection, and commercial execution for critical data center infrastructure and services. This role is responsible for translating capital plans and demand signals into executable sourcing strategies that balance cost, risk, capacity, and speed. You will lead competitive sourcing events, manage supplier performance, and partner cross-functionally to ensure CoreWeave secures the right partners to meet aggressive growth timelines. The role may include mentoring or managing team members as the organization scales.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations, or Construction Management
- 7–10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or project delivery
- Direct experience sourcing critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure or related services
- Demonstrated experience leading sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and supplier management
- Proven ability to develop long-range category strategies and manage complex stakeholder requirements
- Experience working in data center, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure environments
- Valid drivers licence and ability to travel up to ~30% to sites, suppliers, and industry events
- Authorization to work without current or future sponsorship requirements
Preferred:
Experience supporting hyperscale or AI-focused data center deploymentsFamiliarity with ERP systems and digital procurement workflowsExperience operating in global or multi-region supply chains

The base salary range for this role is $122,000 to $179,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
